Install InsightGyan on your phone

Put InsightGyan on your home screen. It opens full screen like an app, you always get the newest pages when you are online, and pages you have opened before still work without internet.

Install it

If you do not see an install button, follow the steps for your device below. Menu names can differ a little between phones and versions.

Android phone or tablet (Chrome)
  1. Open this website in Chrome.
  2. Tap the Install the app button above. If it is not there, tap the three dots at the top right and choose Install app or Add to Home screen.
  3. Tap Install to confirm. The InsightGyan icon appears with your other apps.
  4. Press and hold the icon for quick links to Mock exams, Formulas, Learn and Stories.
iPhone or iPad (Safari)
  1. Open this website in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button (a square with an arrow pointing up) at the bottom or top of the screen.
  3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. Tap Add. The InsightGyan icon appears on your home screen.

Apple does not let websites show an install button, so on iPhone and iPad these steps are the way to do it.

Computer (Chrome or Edge)
  1. Open this website in Chrome or Edge.
  2. Click the install icon at the right end of the address bar, or open the browser menu and choose Install InsightGyan.
  3. Click Install. It opens in its own window.

Good to know

  • Always up to date. When you are online, the app loads the newest version of each page. You never have to update it by hand.
  • Works offline. Pages you opened before are saved on your device. A page you have never opened needs internet.
  • Small and private. It saves a few pages on your own device and nothing else. Remove it like any other app, by pressing and holding its icon.
  • Free. There is nothing to buy and no account to make.
